Code of Ethics of RVmagnetics, a.s.

1. Integrity and transparency

Integrity: We act in accordance with the law and moral principles. We do not support corruption, fraud or dishonest behaviour in any form.
Transparency: We are committed to openness and transparency with our customers, partners and employees. We maintain clear and truthful communication channels.

2. Respect for individuals

Equality and inclusivity: We create an inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued and respected, regardless of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, age or other personal characteristics, in accordance with the gender equality, diversity and inclusion policy.
Dignity: We treat employees, customers and all stakeholders with respect and dignity.
Effort to understand: Employees should try not only to pass on the information to their colleagues, but also to make sure that their colleagues understand it in the same sense as the colleague who is passing on the information understands it. The employee who receives the information should check whether he understood it in the same way as the employee who transmits the information understands it.
Decent behaviour: Principles of decent behaviour (not only) in the workplace are key to creating a positive work culture, harmonious working (or corporate) relations. Therefore, at least the following principles should be observed:
A) Respect for everyone: Every employee (regardless of the type of their employment relationship with the company – part-time employee, contractor, visiting student,...) should be respected regardless of their position, gender, race, faith, age, sexual orientation or any other personal characteristics.
B) Communication: Communication should be open, clear and constructive. Employees should be able to express their thoughts and concerns without fear or condemnation, whether to other colleagues or superiors.
C) Responsibility: Employees should take responsibility for their actions and follow established work standards and procedures. The actions of employees should be directed towards the idea "What can I do for the company and not what the company can do for me".
D) Tolerance: The workplace should be a place where diverse opinions, ideas and approaches are tolerated. Everyone should be able to work in an environment where diversity is respected.
E) Fairness: Decisions and actions should be fair and transparent. Preference should not be given to any employee based on personal preference.
F) Non-support of gossiping: Employees and representatives of the company undertake to take all steps and activities to stop and not support gossiping. Every single employee should verify whether the information he/she has received, and which concerns another employee, is based on facts or is completely or partially false information. Ideally, she/he should confront the affected person with such information, communicate the matter in accordance with these principles and the Code of Ethics and provide him with assistance. At the same time, every employee should avoid supporting, spreading or multiplying gossiping.
G) We avoid acting based on unverified assumptions: In case of ambiguous information or lack of facts (primarily, but not only in relation to his colleagues), the employee should try to obtain all the necessary information or communicate the given situation correctly and decide only afterwards, i.e. avoid making decisions based on unverified assumptions.
H) Prohibition of discrimination and harassment: Discrimination, including harassment based on gender, race, sexual orientation, religion or any other factors, is strictly prohibited.
I) Avoid profanity: All employees should avoid profanity as much as possible with the aim of not using it at all.
J) Constructive conflict resolution: Arising conflicts should be resolved by constructive and peaceful means with the ability to listen and try to understand the other, with the aim of achieving mutual agreement and understanding. Finding a compromise solution to the conflict is only a minimal goal. The goal of conflict resolution is to find consensus.
K) Privacy and Confidentiality: The privacy and confidentiality of employees should be respected. Confidential information should not be misused or disclosed without the consent of the person concerned.
L) Support and encouragement: Employees should support and encourage their colleagues to reach their full potential and feel valued at work. They should also encourage and help their colleagues in complying with this Code of Ethics and individual principles.
M) Punctuality: Employees should make every effort to observe their own punctuality, whether for the purposes of internal or external (client) meetings. In the case of lateness or absence, it is polite and at the same time required to inform your (competent) colleagues and/or partners about a change in time options as soon as such a change has occurred.
N) Ethical behaviour: Employees should observe the ethical standards and values (Code of Ethics) of the c ompany and act in accordance with them in all their activities.

3. Responsibility towards society and the environment

Environmental protection: We are committed to sustainability and environmental protection. We are actively looking for ways to minimize the negative impact on the planet and contribute to a better future. Responsible consumption: We are aware of our impact on resource consumption and strive to minimize our ecological footprint.

4. Conflict of interests and transparency

Identifying and managing conflicts of interest: We actively identify and manage conflicts of interest that could compromise our integrity or ability to manage our customers' affairs.

5. Ethical business practices

Fair trade practices: We provide our customers with quality products and services at a fair price. We do not use deception or lies to gain a competitive advantage.
Strict compliance with legal regulations: We comply with all applicable laws and standards in the area in which we do business and in the countries in which we do business.

6. Commitment to continuous improvement

Culture of improvement: We are committed to continuous improvement of our processes, services and relationships with customers and employees.
Continuous improvement: We provide our employees with access to training and development so that they can continuously improve in their roles.

This code is the basic framework for the ethical behaviour of our company. Every employee is obliged to comply with these principles and support them in their activities.
