Paris, November — RVmagnetics is proud to announce that it has been selected by the jury of Bpifrance Equity during the prestigious European Defence Week held from 27th to 31th October, an annual gathering of Europe’s defence innovators, investors, and strategic stakeholders. RVmagnetics was recognised alongside leading investment players such as: Mountain X, Ventech, Innovacom, Liftt, Audacia, COInvest, FNX Ventures.
Highlighting the company’s position among Europe’s most promising defence-oriented technology innovators. RVmagnetics’ attendance at the event was organised and supported by SIEA – the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency, which facilitates the international visibility of Slovak high-tech companies.
A Recognition of Advanced Micro-Sensing Technology for Defence and Dual-Use Markets The jury’s selection underscores the strategic potential of RVmagnetics’ proprietary MicroWire sensing technology, the world’s smallest passive sensor capable of measuring pressure, temperature, magnetic fields, vibration, and structural changes—all embedded within composite materials, structures, or equipment without affecting their mechanical properties.
RVmagnetics’ MicroWires enable: real-time structural health monitoring of composites, armour, aerospace parts, propulsion systems, and UAV components; non-intrusive and EM-safe sensing in environments sensitive to electronics or wiring; miniaturised sensing solutions for defence platforms where space, weight, and energy are critical constraints; stealth sensing thanks to passive operation, no battery, and no RF emissions; integration into extreme environments, including high temperature, high pressure, or electromagnetically harsh conditions.
These features position RVmagnetics as a key enabler of next-generation defence systems, predictive maintenance, and intelligent materials — all critical domains for Europe’s strategic autonomy.
“Being selected by Bpifrance Equity is a powerful validation of our technology and our mission. MicroWire sensing brings an entirely new layer of intelligence to materials and structures — without adding weight, complexity, or electronic vulnerabilities. Defence and aerospace applications demand exactly this kind of passive, robust, and invisible sensing capability. This recognition proves that European investors see the strategic value and real-world impact of what we are building. We are honored to be recognised among such strong peers, and we look forward to using this opportunity to deepen our collaborations across Europe’s defence ecosystem.”
Bpifrance (Banque Publique d’Investissement) is France’s national public investment bank and one of Europe’s most influential institutions supporting industrial innovation, advanced technologies, and entrepreneurship.
Through Bpifrance Equity, the organisation provides: direct and indirect equity investments into high-tech and strategic companies, long-term capital support to scale-up industrial innovations, dedicated funds for dual-use and defence technologies, including the Definvest programme, acceleration and advisory services tailored to companies shaping Europe’s technological sovereignty. Bpifrance plays a central role in strengthening Europe's defence industrial and technological base (EDTIB), supporting innovators that contribute to resilience, autonomy, and advanced capabilities across critical sectors.
Bpifrance is jointly owned by the French state and the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC), a public financial institution. This dual ownership structure ensures that Bpifrance aligns both with national economic priorities and long-term public interest, particularly in supporting strategic industries and innovation-led growth.
The recognition at European Defence Week highlights RVmagnetics’ role in enabling the next generation of defence technologies, from smart armour and lightweight composite structures to advanced condition monitoring for land, naval, air, and space systems. This milestone enhances RVmagnetics’ visibility and credibility among European institutional investors, primes, and integrators — creating new pathways for technology adoption, co-development, and scaling.
