Metal Sheet Monitoring: RVmagnetics MicroWire sensor is able to detect all inclusions, including internal ones, and scratches.
The excitation coil creates a magnetic field, while the sensing (reading) coil gathers the signal from the MicroWire response. All magnetic field lines will behave correctly while being in contact with quality metal sheets. Once inclusion is detected, the reading coil will record different behavior of MicroWire, as magnetic field lines will change due to inclusions.
