Domain structure of microwires consists of one axial magnetic domain in the middle of the wire covered by radial domains. Closure domains are at the end of the wire. Such structure shows bistable behavior (e.g., the magnetization can have only two states). The switching between the two states runs through the single Backhouse jump at the field called switching field. This field is carrier of information about several physical quantities such as external magnetic field, stress, temperature etc.
