RVmagnetic’s MicroWire offers a wide range of sensing possibilities in Construction and Civil Engineering. MicroWire produces accurate data on concrete maturity, occurrence of cracks, pressure on steel ropes or rebar, and much more.

It is designed for real-time monitoring of values such as pressure, torsion, torque, temperature, vibration , tilting of construction and air / water flow.

RVmagnetic’s MicroWire allows monitoring in all weather conditions at any time during the construction process, including during welding and shielding.

Features

1. Dimensions

Allow introduction of microwires inside various materials without affecting their properties; including implanting the MicroWire to human tissue.

2. Versatile

Sensor can be safely implanted in human tissue, vein, implant (invasive) or become part of diagnostic device (non-invasive).

3. Resistant

MicroWires are resistant to chemically and mechanically challenging environment. They are also short-circuit protected.

4. Spark-less sensing

Use of RVmagnetics sensors does not produce sparks and therefore can be safely placed in ignition sensitive environments.

Thanks to RVmagnetics MicroWire, construction and civil engineering professionals are now able to monitor in real-time parts of the construction process that were previously impossible to measure due to technical or chemical issues.

RVmagnetics state-of-the-art sensing technology detects sensor signals even when affected by noisy electro-magnetic fields (produced by ferro-magnetic materials such as steel, which is typically present in any construction).

Using RVmagnetics MicroWire, the real measurement of relative elongation of rebars embedded in reinforced steel construction is possible. Thanks to its micro-dimensions, the presence of a sensor does not cause material defects, therefore concrete never cracks as a result of a MicroWire. RVmagnetics sensors measure forces affecting your building during and after the construction process.
